What is the test format?
The test has 20 questions and lasts 45 minutes. You can take it in English or French.
What score do I need?
You need at least 15 correct answers out of 20: 75%. A practice score cannot guarantee your official result.
What should I study?
Use Discover Canada, the free official study guide from IRCC. Practice questions supplement the guide.
What happens if I fail?
IRCC allows up to three attempts within your 30-day test period. If you fail all three, IRCC invites you to a hearing. Follow your invitation and check the official results page.
Is this the government website?
No. PassCitizenshipTest is an independent preparation service. We do not provide official test questions or immigration decisions.
